Caregiver Support Group
The Caregiver Support Group typically meets the first Thursday of every month from 2:00 – 3:30 PM in the lower level of FPC.
Caregiving is a job which more and more people find themselves doing, and it comes with no training or manual. Caregivers give their time, their energy, their money, and sometimes even their jobs to make sure their loved one has a good quality of life. Baby Boomers are the largest group finding themselves in the role of caregiving, but certainly not the only.
The caregivers support group is affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association but is open to anyone who is a caregiver for a person with any disease or disability. This group is for anyone who is a caregiver—be it a relative or a friend. It will provide a way to share your caregiving journey with others, learn, and seek information in a supportive and confidential setting.
If you are a caregiver, please join us! If you know someone who is a caregiver, please tell them about it. This group is open to anyone—you need not be Presbyterian. For more information, please email email@example.com.
Presbyterian Women’s Circle
The Presbyterian Women’s Circle (PWC) typically meets monthly September through May and maintains ongoing activities such as Bible study, celebration giving, mission, and special ministries to the congregation and community. We support the mission of the Presbyterian Church (USA) worldwide through education, interpretation, global awareness, and financial gifts. We promote the church-wide collection of shelter needs for Theresa House & Welcome Inn (Partners for Affordable Housing) in the spring and Connections Ministry during the fall and winter.
Church Leadership & Committees
Our church Session, Deacons, and various committees provide governance, guidance, and support for our church, its members, and our community. We would be happy to have you help serve in this capacity!
