Children’s Sunday School

Just like the rest of the world, Children’s Sunday School (for children in pre-K through 5th grade) will look a bit different in 2020! In order to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible, we have decided to only host masked and socially-distant in-person Sunday School once per month. This will occur on the first Sunday of the month at 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall (lower level) beginning in October. (We hope this gives everyone some time to adjust to the “new normal” of the school year!)

We will take all the necessary precautions and follow approved protocols to ensure the safety of our students and families during the in-person classes (which will also be streamed live)! On these dates, Bailey will also provide take-home materials to be used during virtual Sunday School on Facebook Live for the remaining classes of the month.

Please mark your calendars for the following in-person Sunday School dates!

Youth Group

For the health and safety of our students and families, we will be hosting masked and socially distant in-person Youth Group (for grades 6-12) activities just once a month (instead of our usual weekly gathering) on the second Sunday of each month at 11:30 AM beginning in September. We will be sure to follow all necessary protocols during these events!

After-School SNACK with Bailey

“After-School SNACK,” which stands for “Serving Neighbors And Cultivating Kindness,” takes place on Wednesday afternoons on Zoom at 4:30 with youth! During these brief Zoom sessions, youth enjoy a snack of their choice while discussing highs and lows for the week, setting goals for showing kindness toward others and themselves, and centering themselves with prayer and devotion.

Confirmation is an opportunity for our young people to explore their faith. As their community of faith, we make a promise to raise children with the stories of Jesus when they are baptized, but the confirmation process is a chance for them to think deeper about their own faith as they journey through adolescence.
This year-long series of classes occurs throughout a school year and is available for children in grades 8-10. If you or your children are interested in learning more, please email Pastor Lindsay at

Small Group/One-on-One Opportunities

If your son or daughter could benefit from additional time with our Director of Outreach & Faith Formation Bailey DeVetter, Bailey would be more than happy to arrange small group or one-on-one hangout sessions! She can meet up at a park, color at the church, work on homework, go for a walk/hike, or whatever you would prefer. Please do not hesitate to reach out to make arrangements! Bailey would love to be of service however it works best for you and your family.
