Worship FAQ

When Should I Arrive?

Worship begins at 10:00 AM. Arrive whenever it works best for you!

Are Children Welcome?

Absolutely! Children are encouraged to attend and participate in worship. We have a special “children’s time” during the service, and we provide activity bags and children’s bulletins. Children in grades PreK-5 are also invited to attend Sunday School after children’s time, beginning around 10:20 AM–no registration required.

What Happens Afterwards?

One of the best parts of your week! ALL are invited to the lower level immediately after worship for coffee, treats, and fellowship. There are snacks, seating, and play areas available for all ages. This is where some of our best community-building happens!

What Should I Wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable! You will see everything from ties to tennis shoes, and all are wonderful.

What Should I Expect?

Worship lasts approximately one hour and is a laid-back, family-friendly experience! We provide bulletins so everyone can easily follow along with the order of service, music, scripture readings, and more. We practice an open table, so all are welcome to join in all aspects of worship, including communion.

Where Are You Located/Where Can I Park?

We are located at the corner of Hickory and Broad in downtown Mankato, MN.
You can park in the ramp off of Broad Street, on any nearby street, or in the Masonic Lodge lot off of Hickory Street (next to Consolidated Communications).

Which Door Should I Use?

Your choice! All of our doors are open on Sunday mornings.

What If My Kids Cry, Fuss, And Wiggle?

No problem! We love and understand that children express themselves in unpredictable ways. We welcome the noises and movements kids bring to worship, but if your little one(s) needs a break, we have a private room directly off of the sanctuary balcony filled with toys, rocking chairs, and more for you to use. The room also has a one-way window and speaker so you don’t have to miss what’s happening in the worship service!

Additionally, we have a multi-purpose private family room available next to the first floor restrooms with a changing table, wipes, infant snacks, toys, and more. This is a windowless space so it is also a great option for anyone who prefers a more private lactation room.
